Teaching Assistants required to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 - Long Term

Your new company
You will be working in primary schools in the Stroud and Cirencester area who are looking to add a strong Teaching Assistant to support with classes in both Key stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This position is a long term position with a view to being made permanent in the summer of 2019.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant in this role you will be required to support children in groups as well as on a one to one basis. You will be required to specifically support a child in a Year 1 class with learning difficulties whenever necessary. You will work closely with the Class Teacher as a Teaching Assistant to help with setting up resources and behaviour management.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 and KS2 you must have to following:

  • Relevant experience in the last two years that can be referenced.
  • Good knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 Curriculum
  • Experience on some level of providing one to one support
  • Availability to commit to a long term role
