Teaching Assistants needed for Stockport and South Manchester Schools
You will be working as a teaching assistant for the only primary school specialist teaching agency that has exclusive partnerships with schools across Stockport and South Manchester area. These teaching assistant opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area we are looking for experienced primary teaching assistants to fill the vacancies immediately.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs. Working for Guardian Education will enable you to work on a full time or part time basis to suit your commitments. As we are the only primary school specialist agency in the North-West, working for your local agency, will allow you to work in a variety of schools from small mixed form village schools to multiple form entry large schools in Stockport and South Manchester.
In order to be a Primary Supply Teaching Assistant you will need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years, either within a mainstream or SEND setting. You will need to be an approachable and patient teaching assistant who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to teachers and other staff in the school. You must also hold a teaching assistant qualification, from level 1 to 3 or a HLTA certificate. Please note, you must have a current DBS registered on the online update service. (We can process a new DBS for you if you require one on our fast-track service).
