SparkED Education are currently working with a SEND school in Walthamstow. We are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across various all years groups in a school to support children on a one to one basis and small groups.

Are you currently looking for a full time long term or part time SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong focus on inclusion?

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop socially and emotionally.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and planning meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping children thrive.
  • A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
