Teaching Assistants required in the London borough of Hounslow

About the Role:
My client is currently seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in one of their Year 4 classes.
You as a Teaching Assistant will be required to support the classroom teacher, set up activities during Literacy and Numeracy periods and also assist with guided reading.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have sound knowledge of the National UK Curriculum, clear written and verbal use of the English language, competent in delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy as well as supporting pupils with guided reading.
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will consist of supporting not only the classroom teacher but also working alongside another Teaching Assistant.

The school which is a 3-from entry school has recently been graded 'Good' by OFSTED with outstanding features.
The school is based in Hounslow. The closest station to the school is Feltham on the over ground service. The school is lucky to be amongst open fields, with plenty of room for expansion. The schools currently are planning to become a 4-form entry across all year groups to meet intake requests of the local community, with two large playing fields. To ensure children are studying to their very best, the school has renovated all windows with flight surround sound glazing by British Airways.
The school has also implemented a new sensory courtyard to allow children to allow children to have an outdoor learning experience.
The school have a state of the art ICT suite complete with 2 large playing fields.

Requirements for the Role:
Prior school based/childcare experience is essential
Educated to a degree level, ideally one which is relatable to working with children but not essential.
Have a GCSE grade of C in both Mathematics and English Language.
Have good oral and written English.

Rate of Pay and Working hours:
£70 - £80 per day depending on experience.
Your working hours will consist of 08:30am - 15:30pm, Monday to Friday with a 45-minute lunch and 1x 15-minute coffee breaks.

You must have recent and a minimum of six months' experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience, we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.
