Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediately

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in achieving their full potential? Do you have experience working in a school setting and ant to make a sure real difference every day?

We're looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Tradewind. Working in a variety of schools in Weston-Super-Mare. The successful candidate will ideally have SEN experience, excellent behaviour management skills, and be able to work effectively with a student who requires additional support.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities
• Collaborating with the classroom teacher and other staff members to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional development
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources

Qualifications:

• A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

• Experience working with children and students with SEND
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training will be provided)
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work immediately and for the rest of the academic year
