Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a committed and nurturing Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Bolton area after the October half-term.

This part-time role runs from 8:30am to 1:30pm each day and would suit a caring and motivated individual who enjoys supporting children in their learning and development.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to provide targeted support across EYFS or KS1/KS2 (depending on experience). Experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or additional learning needs would be highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Have previous experience working within a primary school setting

  • Demonstrate a patient, positive and flexible approach to supporting pupils

  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Possess a valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
