Primary age special school which caters for children experiencing Communication and Interaction difficulties within a moderate learning difficulty / mild learning disability range. It is expected that the vast majority of our pupils have a diagnosis of ASd alongside other difficulties such as Global Developmental Delay, anxiety, sensory processing, ADHd and dyspraxia for example and / or a severe speech, language and communication difficulty

We honestly believe that, given the right environment and support, every child can flourish. We do not aim to replicate a mainstream school approach, rather we try to consider what approaches our particular pupils need, to achieve their full potential.

We provide the full National Curriculum and our pupils attain within the range expected for children within a moderate learning difficulty range. We also deliver a specialist learning curriculum designed to address the difficulties children of this needs range typically experience

The person

· Preferably SEND experience, however, applications welcome from candidates with mainstream experience

· No sponsorships

· Must be able to work full-time

· Paid via the agency for 12 weeks, with a view to becoming permanent in September

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £90.00-£110.00 per day
