Romano Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil on a 1:1 basis in a primary school in Burnley. This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience, especially in early years settings.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:-
Provide 1:1 support for a child with autism in Reception

Assist in classroom activities and learning interventions

Implement strategies to support the child's development and social skills

Work closely with teachers and SENCO to meet learning goals

Maintain a safe and positive learning environment

Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN support

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)

Understanding of autism and early years development

Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
