We are seeking passionate and dedicated Qualified Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and vibrant primary school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to make a real difference in the lives of children within Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2). You will work closely with classroom teachers, providing both academic and emotional support to ensure that all pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons to students in KS1 and KS2.
- Provide one-on-one support for students with specific learning needs or challenges.
- Support the development of pupils' literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Help to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Assist in the preparation of learning resources and activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, focused learning environment.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in KS1 and/or KS2, preferably in a primary school setting.
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- A proactive, adaptable, and patient approach.
