Are you looking for a new opportunity in February? Then our Specialist SEN Branch are looking for you! We are working in partnership with a well-established SEN school in Cardiff who are looking to add to their staffing pool when schools reopen.  Experience in working with children or adults with additional learning needs is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role. More often than not, the school would consider personality over experience and they also consider other professions that can easily transfer into an education setting. This includes healthcare professionals, support workers and graduates.

The Successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Have the ability to work well in a well-established team.
• Have the ability to use your initiative when challenging situations arise.  
• Have experience or an interest in working within a Special School.

The school itself is a state of the art facility where the pupils can access hydrotherapy pools, rebound therapy, sensory rooms and onsite nurses if needs be.

Teaching Personnel have a fantastic professional relationship with this SEN school and have a brilliant temp-to-perm option in place. This means that opportunities for permanent contracts directly with the school come relatively often. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
