Teaching Assistant required in Salford, SEND and Behavioural Schools

Hays are working closely with SEND/ EBD schools based in Salford, which cater for pupils who have behavioural, social and mental health difficulties. A great learning environment for pupils to build confidence and skills to help them get back into mainstream education if able too. Our expert knowledge will ensure you are supplied with work in suitable schools for you.
Your new role
Working within a special needs environment helping teaching staff deliver lessons. Monitoring behaviour and learning needs of pupils within that class. may require 1:1 support for pupils with a higher need of interaction.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience within a SEND environment, any SEN qualifications for example team teach or PECS. A passionate individual who is calm and understands the needs of SEND pupils are just as important those in mainstream education.
