Your new role
You will be helping teachers enhance and improve learning of pupils, as well as monitoring behaviour of the class if required.
What you'll need to succeed
To have worked one to one and led groups with children with special needs such as PMLD, ASD and speech and language difficulties.
Experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
Ability to spot disruptive behaviour and treat it before it escalates.
Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children
Experience in personal care such as feeding and changing.
