Teaching Assistant with SEND experience required in Tameside.

Working with an SEND school in Tameside who have pupils with behavioural , emotional and social learning difficulties as well as mental and physical disabilities.
Your new role
You will be working along side a teacher providing assistance with a classroom, monitoring pupil behaviour and learning. To enhance the learning of pupils as well as help improve their social well being for further development of pupil EHCP (education, health & care plan) if required. Spot disruptive behaviour and be able to resolve the issue before it has chance to escalate (team Teach's training) .
What you'll need to succeed
To have worked one to one and led groups with children with special needs such as PMLD, ASD and speech and language difficulties. Experience working with children with challenging behaviour
excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure. Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children Experience in personal care such as feeding and changing.
