Teaching Assistant (SEND) required in Manchester, working with challenging behaved pupils

Working with a SEND school within Greater Manchester which covers, emotional, behaviour, social and mental health difficulties (EBSMD). Helping teachers enhance the learning, health and social well being of challenging pupils. We understand the complexities of Special Needs jobs within education, and are accustomed to offering rewarding opportunities working with pupils with Severe and Complex Needs, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, and Emotional, Behaviour, Social and Mental Health Difficulties.
Your new role
There are many roles for teachers and teaching assistants looking to gain valuable experience in a challenging but rewarding sector of education. You will be working within; Special Needs School Pupil Referral Unit EBSD/SEMH School Alternative Provision. This role will offer a lot more than just experience but the chance to meet a learn from bright and talented pupils with amazing personalities and make you want to go to get out of bed, making every new day something to look forward to.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience within a behavioural classroom dealing with challenging pupils.
To have worked one to one and led groups with children with special needs such as PMLD, ASD and speech and language difficulties. Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure. Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children .Experience in personal care such as feeding and changing.
