This well connected, non-selective community school are looking for classroom teaching assistants to work throughout various classes and alongside some of their most gifted and talented pupils
Do you have a passion for working with young people? A desire to act as a role model and support pupils of various abilities and backgrounds through a pivotal time in their lives? You will need to have good numeracy and literacy skills and a high level of enthusiasm and motivation.
This is a varied and hugely rewarding role that will consist of working within various classes, leading small groups of pupils around an educational task and working alongside specific pupils to keep them on task. An innovative and energetic approach in order to keep pupils focussed, creating a fun and interactive learning experience.
Experience of working alongside young people with SEN is also advantageous as a number of pupils in the school have a diagnosis of EBD, ASD and ADHD.
The school is part of an academy trust and is a short walk from a mainline station into London.

To be considered for this role you will need:
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
-A can do attitude and passion for working with young people
-Experience of working alongside young people in any role but especially as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is an advantage.
-A C grade or above in GSCE Maths and English
-Good communication skills
-Experience of young people, or pupils with ASD, EBD or ADHD is also an advantage.
