Are you looking for a fresh challenge?
Do you want to part of a team that delivers real change in the lives of students and the community they come from?
Are you compassionate, intuitive resilient, compassionate, calm and committed?
Do you have experience working with primary children who have the following needs:
- Autism (ASD)
- Global Delay
- Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
I am seeking to appoint a proactive and passionate special needs Teaching Assistant with a proven track record working with Autistic students to join a fantastic small special school in the London Borough of Westminster. The school is for primary aged children with Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
The school has an excellent reputation and has been deemed as "Oustanding" across the board by both OfSTED and Challenge Partners during inspections in the last 12 months. The SLT are fantastic, very hands on and supportive and they genuinely take time to ensure everyone in school from the middle managers through to the cleaners have the support and resources to ensure they are effective and happy in their work.
This is a school that will invest heavily in your personal development and pay a competitive salary. There is also a good social side to the school with a number of fun social activities linked to other schools in the local area that have grown organically with Yoga and Zumba sessions once a week for around £2.50, a group who go swimming weekly, surprisingly a weekly ukulele club (no? me neither) and a healthy sized group decamp to the local pub on a Friday to toast the weekend! This is a well run, supportive and friendly school and the students are lovely although they need a lot of support with social interaction and their learning.Apply today for immediate interviews
