Are you a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking to work in an Ofsted “Good” Pupil Referral unit? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role?  The Education Network are working exclusively with this alternative provision to find an engaging, dynamic and dedicated Teaching Assistant for this long term role. You will be working closely with teaching and support staff to provide academic support to Key stage 3 & 4 students. The children at this excellent PRU  have faced barriers to learning and require both academic support and a positive role model, who is able to manage the classroom behaviour of small groups. This role can be extremely rewarding for the right person. An easy commute from Dudley, Tipton, Oldbury, Halesowen, Walsall and Birmingham, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.

Are you a driven and exciting Learning Mentor looking for a new role? Do you enjoy working with children who have faced barriers to learning?

Ideally you will be:-

-          A TA or Learning Mentor used to working with children and young adults with barriers to learning

-          A confident classroom practitioner able to support lessons in a creative and inspiring manner

-          Used to finding creative solutions to challenging behaviour

-          Encouraging participation in lessons

-          Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis

-          Able to provide support to teaching staff across core subjects

-          A friendly, professional  and dedicated Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor

-          Able to provide recent, relevant education references
