Teaching Assistant

Vida Education are recruiting for a Special Support Teaching Assistant, supporting students with a range of SEN to include those on the Autistic spectrum and EBD (Emotional, Behavioural Disorders) across all key stage 3 & 4.

You will be responsible for supporting children with varying learning difficulties. You will work in small groups or 1:1.

The role is full time and to start ASAP.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with pupils who have special educational needs, have recent classroom experience and be confident in supporting children with SEN.

In order to be considered for this post, you will need to:

  • Have a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum
  • Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students

As you are working with children, safeguarding and child welfare is paramount and an Enhanced DBS is required for the role, this can be discussed further upon application.
