TiQ Salaried Initial teacher Training- April 2018 Cohort

A high-achieving and welcoming primary school in Hailsham are looking for a graduate with some experience as a Teaching Assistant to start working towards QTS at their in April 2018 on the TiQ Initial Teacher Training Programme.

TiQ takes aspiring teachers from Teaching Assistants to Qualified Teachers over a 6 phase all-inclusive course. Our no-fee salaried programme introduces trainees to the classroom as Teaching Assistants, taking on further responsibilities as they pass each phase.

All of our Trainees have an in-school mentor and an external tutor from enrolling as a Teaching Assistant up until they gain Qualified Teacher Status after completing their 6th phase. All training fees are covered by the school, and the gradual approach gives TiQ trainees time to learn the school curriculum and culture before taking of further responsibility

TiQ is a practical salaried teacher training course that gradually builds our trainee’s skills, knowledge and confidence for the transition from Teaching Assistant to Teacher, providing the support and guidance needed to develop into confident and knowledgeable practitioners.

We currently have placements available in Hailsham and Eastbourne for April 2018 start.

  • You have a degree classification of 2:1 or above (2:2 may be accepted with experience)
  • You have C's or above in GCSE (or Equivalent) in Maths, English and Science
  • You have previously worked as a Teaching Assistant or have extensive experience working with children in a different capacity
