TiQ salaried Teacher Training Programme- opportunities in Primary across South East London- for April 2018 start

We are looking for graduates with experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Primary education to join our April 2018 cohort.

Teach in Qualified (TiQ) is for committed graduates looking for a career in education. Taking our trainees from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) over a two year period. All of our trainees begin their teaching career as Teaching Assistants offering classroom support and running interventions, slowly taking on independent teaching responsibilities as you develop through in school experience and theoretical knowledge form your tuition days.

Through in-school mentoring and school holiday training sessions (run by our training provider) our course ensures all of our trainees have the support they need from day one as a Teaching assistant up until they are independent teachers at the end of year two.

TiQ is a salaried course and the school pays tuition, so no fees or loans are required. We don’t place trainees into schools they haven’t previously met with and agreed to work for, in a commutable distance from their home.

TiQ is an ideal way to ensure you begin your career in education with the right amount of support, progressing in your role from Teaching Assistant to teacher as you develop your confidence and knowledge.

* C or above in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths, English and Science
