Teaching Assistant - SEN

A SEN Teaching Assistant job working within key stage 2 in south Liverpool

This south Liverpool primary school are looking for a Key Stage 2 special educational needs 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This school is a one-form entry primary school based in south Liverpool and is an OUTSTANDING school in line with OFSTED.

This Teaching Assistant position will run for the rest of the academic year and likely into next year too. The role will be working 1:1 with a child with ASD who responds well to a nurturing but firm approach.

You will need to be confident in working with complex needs and will be an energetic and pro-active individual who enjoys the rewarding nature of working with children with special educational needs. To be considered for this Key Stage 2 SEN Teaching Assistant job in South Liverpool you must:

+ Have recent 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant experience or experience of working with SEN children in a different setting and be able to provide references
+ You will ideally have a relevant SEN or Teaching Assistant qualification or Education / SEN related degree
+ A strong understanding of SEN
