We are seeking a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant for a secondary level at a high school known for its excellent reputation and supportive environment. Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
• Facilitate communication between students and teachers, particularly for students who primarily speak Welsh.
• Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
• Monitor and support student behaviour in the classroom and other school areas.
• Participate in school meetings and events.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Welsh is essential.
• Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar educational position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive approach and a commitment to student development.
• Relevant qualifications in education are preferred but not mandatory.
