This vacancy is designed for inspirational maths graduates who have at least a second class degree and ideally have some experience working with young children, although not a necessity. The Headteacher wants highly enthusiastic and motivated maths graduates who are able to show passion in the classroom and use their own initiative.
You will be working with children on a one to one and small group basis supporting across the age and ability range, although you will mainly be working with students who are preparing for the GCSE exams.
The Headteacher has had graduates in the last two years who have all gone onto successful PGCEs, so this will be a perfect scenario if you are seriously considering a career as a teacher.
Extra curricular activities are extremely popular amongst the students and you will be encouraged to play your part.
