Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a Behaviour Provision in York. The School caters for pupils across Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5, with the majority of students excluded from mainstream education. We are looking for people with an open mind, who will be non-judgemental and can see past 'previous bad behaviour'. A lot of students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, with English as an Additional Language, SEMH and some students are undergoing an EHCP for Autism and ADHD.
If you feel you can help support the students and make their education experience more enjoyable, please get in touch with Kerry Fowler at Teaching Personnel.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
