Milk Education are working with a Primary school in Liverpool L36, who are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant. This Teaching Assistant role is to support both students and the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom. You must be confident to support the reception children working on a one to one basis and in a group capacity as and when required to do so.
This Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Supporting with Learning and Developing
- Working with Maths and English
- Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Encouraging, Supporting and De-escalating students
- Being involved across the curriculum, including outdoor learning, PE and Core subjects
