An excellent one form entry primary School are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support within key stage 2 to provide general and 1:1 support.

The Head teacher is keen to meet with a passionate and inspiring individual who is keen to make a positive impact to pupils achievements. This role will see you working in year 3 where you will work on 1:1 basis as well as support across class. The pupil has challenging behaviour which stems from his learning difficulties; someone who is patient and empathetic would make great progress with this pupil.

The pupil requiring one to one support has learning difficulties so requires a real focus in classes to break down expectations and encourage learning, the rest of your time will be used to support across class as and where the class Teacher may require.

As a Teaching Assistant you must display enthusiasm, be proactive, have lots of initiative and able to prioritise support. Pupils overall are achieving well but having an energetic role model in place will really continue to inspire.

This role will give any aspiring Primary teacher a huge advantage to work within a really supportive School where you will work closely with excellent Teachers and leadership team. You must be confident to work with challenging behaviour.
