Bond Education is looking to appoint a teacher to work with students with emotional and behavioural needs and those excluded from mainstream education at a client school in central Cambridge. The role represents an opportunity to work with small groups of children in a cross-curriculum way. Strengths in teaching design and technology, food technology, PSHE or a humanities subject would be a plus though not essential.
This role is full time with an immediate start date. The role represents an excellent opportunity to become part of a fantastic, forward thinking provision, who are without doubt, leaders in Alternative Provision Education.
Many of the learners will have complicated relationships with education and we are looking for a teacher who can actively engage these students with the curriculum. Teaching and learning will be a priority and you will be well supported by support staff and a well-structured approach.
Our client is looking for candidates who:
• Have an ability to improve learning outcomes with challenging students
• Have experience of teaching in an EBD setting or an interest in doing so
• Have worked within the exclusion/ inclusion area of education
Applicants must hold a current DBS or be willing to undergo a new check.
