Bond Education is looking to appoint a teacher to work with students with emotional and behavioural needs and those excluded from mainstream education at a client school in central Cambridge. The role represents an opportunity to work with small groups of children in a cross-curriculum way. Strengths in teaching design and technology, food technology, PSHE or a humanities subject would be a plus though not essential.

This role is full time with an immediate start date. The role represents an excellent opportunity to become part of a fantastic, forward thinking provision, who are without doubt, leaders in Alternative Provision Education.
Many of the learners will have complicated relationships with education and we are looking for a teacher who can actively engage these students with the curriculum. Teaching and learning will be a priority and you will be well supported by support staff and a well-structured approach.

Our client is looking for candidates who:

• Have an ability to improve learning outcomes with challenging students
• Have experience of teaching in an EBD setting or an interest in doing so
• Have worked within the exclusion/ inclusion area of education

Applicants must hold a current DBS or be willing to undergo a new check.
Apply now and help us shape the future and learning opportunities of students who without your input may have limited opportunities to learn. We welcome applications from all Teachers with UK QTS but the role may also suit an experienced Non-qualified teacher with relevant experience.
