Teacher - SEN

Posted 6 February by Cardiff Education Featured Ended
REED Education are currently recruiting for a Teacher for our special school client located within the Bridgend area.

The school provide education and support on a day basis to Key Stage 2-4 pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (SEBD). With this in mind, the pupils can at times display quite challenging behaviour towards themselves, other pupils and yourself as a staff member therefore, the role would suit someone with a Team Teach qualification who can respond to these issues in the same holistic way the school itself would.

Although sometimes challenging, the rewards that come from teaching pupils with SEBD will offer great job satisfaction and sense of achievement.

From their next Teacher, the pupils are looking for a positive, encouraging, firm but fair role model who is also caring and can show empathy when needed.

To provide the pupils with the best level of education, you will have experience of teaching pupils with additional learning needs within a specialist setting. This is an essential requirement for this role. Ideally, you will hold a relevant Team Teach qualification and have previous experience teaching pupils with SEBD.

For an immediate discussion regarding this role please call me on 02920 386515 or alternatively you can email myself on Sian.Davies@reedglobal.com requesting a call back at a convenient time for you.

REED Education are currently working with a number of ADL Schools throughout South Wales with varying levels of specialist needs, recruiting Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

Should the above role not be of interest to you, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss how I can help find the right for fit for you.
