What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Secondary Science Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status, and have vast experience of teaching all aspects of Science to Secondary level pupils.
You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times.
You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
