A Co-Educational Independent School in Berkshire are looking to recruit a full time Teacher of Physics to join them from September on a permanent basis. You will also have the opportunity to be a Form Tutor within the school.
The school are looking for a highly qualified Physics specialist with excellent subject knowledge to teach KS3 and KS4 primarily. The ability to teach an additional Science to GCSE would be highly advantageous but is not essential. There is also an opportunity to teach A Level Physics should this be something you are particularly passionate about.
Benefits include a highly generous payscale which ranges from £28,818 to £34,491 and can offer 50% remission on school fees for teachers who have children that would like to attend the school. You will also be automatically enrolled in to the Teachers Pension Scheme (unless you choose t opt out).
You will be assisting the Head of Department with the development of the Physics curriculum. The department (and school as a whole) are a very close and supportive community of passionate teachers and you will be fully supported by a full time laboratory technician.
