Due to two resignations, my client school are keen to recruit an outstanding Teacher of Physics for the start of the new academic year in September. The school, located in south Birmingham, is a larger than average secondary school with over 1600 pupils on the roll. It’s a specialist science school with over 15 laboratories and state of the art equipment / ICT. Although the school was graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted this hasn’t slowed down the head’s continual push to improve in all areas. As an experienced Teacher of physics, you will be well versed in providing outstanding lessons that meet the needs of the most demanding pupils. You will be comfortable with teaching at all Key Stages including A Level and be able to differentiate to match the varying ability of the pupils under your tutelage. For NQTs the school are looking for candidates that have been graded as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ on their final professional placements.
