A specialist setting in the borough of Merton - where pupils with varying special education needs are offered an outstanding educational provision within a caring environment - are looking for a teacher of music, with QTS, to join their team full time and teach across the school, from Easter until the end of the academic year (a handover would ideally take place before the end of March)

The ideal person will;
*Have experience working with Early Years to Secondary aged children
*Play at least one instrument, as well as being confident vocally
*Be familiar working with and supporting communicational needs, such as Autism and
*Be unphased by students with physical and/or sensory needs, needing to be assisted with personal care
The role will involve coordinating music across the school and having interaction/support from all staff members also. From being a school that promotes communication and interaction, music is highly regarded and respected, with excellent recourses and instruments available to incorporate into lessons.
The school is situated close to tube and train stations (Northern Line) and would look to offer a car parking space to the successful applicant if required.
