I am currently looking to recruit a qualified Teacher of Mathematics for my client. This high achieving secondary school was rated Good in its latest Ofsted Inspection, and is close to an overground train stations and local bus routes.
The development of students literacy and numeracy skills is good. Most students make at least good progress, particularly in literacy. Teaching is predominantly good, and some is outstanding. Students behave well, enjoy school and feel safe. Older students have positive attitudes and value what the school has to offer. Exclusions are well-below average. The headteacher and senior staff provide ambitious leadership informed by a thorough knowledge of students starting points and progress. As a result, achievement and teaching are improving and students are well prepared for the next stage of their lives. The governors know the school well. They are clear about its strengths and where it needs to improve. They hold staff to account for the quality of the schools performance.
With emphasis placed on achieving outstanding results, the school is ultimately looking for an outstanding teacher to be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching of pupils and be confident in their abilities to teach Mathematics at GCSE and A-Level. The school is also looking for someone who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils of all diverse backgrounds. The school would also like the teacher to possess strong behaviour management skills.
