The Teacher we require should have:
*Experience working with Special Educational Needs (preferably autism)
*Experience in using PECS in their lesson plans and writing IEP's
*6 Pupils with 4 Support staff and 1 HLTA in the classroom
*Subject knowledge of P Scales desired
*Knowledge of teaching range Ks1 and Ks2
*Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive
*Great rates of pay.
The Teacher will be required to teach students who are on P Scales on the national curriculum across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The position is for a Full Time, Long Term Teacher who would be paid to the Main Pay Scale (via daily rate - Inner London). The school is based in Barking and Dagenham, East London and has practical transport links from Central, North and East London.
The school is in Barking and Dagenham, there is a good number of local transport services that run to the school including the District, Hammersmith and City Line, Overground and C2C. The school is based in a leafy suburb of Barking and Dagenham and has a lot of green areas that the pupils usually use in the summer.
