Teacher of Girls PE

Our client, an independent preparatory school in London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced teacher of Girls PE to join out successful and thriving department.
This prestigious co-educational independent preparatory school has an excellent record of achievement, catering between the ages of 7-13. The school's most recent inspection received the highest award for the overall level and quality of education provided, and was graded top marks in all areas of inspection. The school is successful in its aim to produce aspirational, polite and well-rounded children.
The school are currently looking for a teacher of Girls PE to join their outstanding staff teaching team. Sport is an integral part of the school's curriculum, with a multitude of extra-curricular clubs on offer to pupils. This will be on a full-time, fixed term contract with the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate.
Applications are invited from well qualified and experienced teachers with proven track records for excellence in teaching practices and a passion for their specialist discipline. Experience within the independent sector is desired but not essential.
The successful candidate will be someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about their subject, and will hold a good degree in a relevant field from a reputable university. As this job is in an independent school, QTS isn't an essential requirement although it is desired. Experience working with prep school aged children is essential.
The salary range is on the school's own generous scale and dependent on experience. The salary is pro rata for the part time commitment.
