Whats the job?
CER Education has an exciting position to start immediately at a school in the Durham area. They are looking for candidates that are willing to jump straight into the job and to work alongside an already established team to develop and encourage learning. The school will expect you to be creative, innovative and be keen to develop yourself as well as the young learners. There are opportunities to complete weekly CPD courses to develop your skills. We want you to create learning experiences within your lessons with support from CERs excellent CPD courses.
Can you do the job?
You will, firstly, need to posses QTS and newly qualified teachers are more than encouraged to apply. You will need to have or be willing to develop knowledge of the relevant subject matter as well as the techniques required to manage behaviour, not to mention the creative and fun elements involved with teaching in the classroom. CER will be there to support you with your development with weekly CPD courses.
You will work with an exciting, bustling secondary school in Durham. CER Education work closely with these schools and have relationships that we want you to help us build. The school has convenient travel routes and connections to public transport links. CER Education can also provide permanent work for newly qualified teachers in January with our ever growing network of schools and academies.
