Geography Teacher - Humanities Teacher
Engage Education are working with an Ofsted "Good" secondary school based in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham who are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher for September 2018.
This is a permanent position and the school are happy to hear from both experienced or newly qualified teachers.
The post has become available due to the high demand of students opting to take Geography at GCSE meaning the school are looking to expand their humanities faculty!
The school have very recently had their Ofsted in December and were awarded GOOD in all areas. They were praised for their strong leadership team, commitment to CPD and progress and attainment of their students.
For exceptional Teachers, the school are looking to create their first Lead Practioner for Geography. For those who a newly qualified the school has fantastic CPD links to support and progress their NQT Teachers.
- You must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Ability to teach Geography to KS4 (opportunity to teach KS5 for successful candidate)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan creative and engaging lesson plans
