Teacher of French and modern languages job in the Northern region of East Sussex at an Independent school
Your new company
This village independant school in the northern region of East Sussex is seeking a qualified KS1-3 Teacher of French with immediate effect. Due to a teacher retiring, the school is looking to appoint a full-time class teacher 5 days per week from January onwards.
Your new role
You will be required to teach on either a part-time or full time basis. You will be working alongside one full-time teaching assistant. The school are looking for an experienced teacher with recent experience, in order to help with the challenge of settling children and working well with parents. You will have a friendly, nurturing and confident approach to your teaching and it would be the ideal role for someone that is keen to gain experience in teaching French at a variety of age ranges in an outside of the mainstream schooling system.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Primary Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to TAs and other people in the school.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid an MPS/UPS teachers wage between £117.52 - £198.12 per day, based on your experience and any added responsibilities. You'll receive advice and guidance from a supportive senior management team.
