This English Literature / English Language Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 class groups. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons that stretch understanding and provide opportunity for debate and discussion where appropriate.
This Church of England School, which also provides sixth form provision, caters for over 2,000 students and encourages them to achieve success through becoming independent learners. The school is built on a foundation of Christian beliefs and aims to provide the highest quality of education. With a focus on ensuring students are fully engaged through the provision of stimulating and challenging lessons this is the ideal environment to work in. There could also be the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5, coming with an additional TLR, for the right candidate.
