Bridge Education are working on behalf of a Large secondary school within Lancashire who are seeking a a English teacher, with experience teaching Drama and/or performing Arts Teacher for a contract teaching post.

The post is to start immediately and is to last until the end of the academic year, with a view to continue in September for the right candidate.

The post is 5 days a week, Monday - Friday and the working hours are from 8.30am - 3:15pm.

The sucessful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 & 4 English lessons along with Key Stage 3 and 4 Drama, on a split timetable.

The school has a large intake, with around 1000 students on roll and is situated close to central motorway junctions.
The school also has on site parking facilities and is close to local transport.

Strong behavior management skills are required.

The successful English Teacher MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE in English

- Recent experience of teaching KS3/4 English and Performing Arts

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality English lessons

- Good classroom management skills

- Commitment to a long term teaching role

- Be able to work as part of a large, dynamic team.
