ROLE: TEACHER OF ECONOMICS & BUSINESS

A leading Independent Girls School, located in Berkshire, are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Economics and Business Studies. This is a permanent post to commence in April 2018. Part time contracts will also be considered for the right candidate.
The school are a leading Independent Senior School, educating 600 Girls from 11 â€" 18 years old, with boarding facilities. They offer a broad curriculum and a number of extracurricular activities, which staff are encouraged to support. The school operate Monday â€" Friday from 8.30am â€~til 6pm and on Saturday mornings from 8.30am â€~til Midday, with generous school holidays to make up for the involved nature of the school term. They are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Economics and Business Studies, who is confident to teach both subjects to A Level. Their students are bright and inquisitive, so excellent subject knowledge is essential.
You will be an experienced Class Teacher or an NQT seeking a new challenge in a fantastic school environment. This would also suit an Economics graduate or experienced candidate wanting to move into teaching. You will be a subject specialist and encourage conversation and debate around your subject. You will be committed to supporting a well-rounded education and participate in the wider life of the school.
