Prospero Teaching are currently looking for an energetic, hardworking and talented teacher of Business Studies and Economics to work as part of a strong team of successful Business and economics teachers committed to developing excellent teaching and learning for all students.
The school requires, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Business Studies and Economics to join an innovative, forward-thinking Business department. The department benefits from progressive teaching and excellent enrichment experiences.
The School do not have issues with their recruitment and do not find that they have a high staff turnover. However, as they have worked with Prospero teaching for a number of years, they have entrusted this vacancy with us to ensure they appoint the most suitable teacher of Business Studies and Economics available for after the Christmas break, to continue the amazing teaching delivered to Key Stage 3, key stage 4 and 5. The role also offers the option of being permanent or on a contractual basis depending on the successful teacher of Business Studies and Economics needs.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
*Qualified Teacher Status,
*The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results
*A passion for Business and Economics the ability to share this with young people
*Excellent classroom management skills
*Excellent organisational and ICT skills
*The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
*You are a fully qualified Business Studies teacher(PGCE,QTS,B'ED etc).
* You can provide 2 teaching references within the last 2 years.
* You hold the right to work in the UK.
* You have a DBS or are willing to complete one.
* You have passion for Education.
* You have a provable track record of teaching Business and Economics at KS4-KS5.
