The Role – Art Teacher (Temp to Perm)

• Deliver engaging, inclusive art lessons across key stages
• Support pupils with ASD and SEMH needs using a nurturing, trauma-informed approach
• Foster creativity, emotional regulation, and self-expression through visual arts
• Contribute to a well-resourced art department with access to diverse materials
• Collaborate with a warm, experienced team in a specialist setting
• Benefit from a high percentage of PPA time for planning and reflection
• Work under a proactive Headteacher who champions staff wellbeing and resources generously
• Uphold safeguarding standards with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

The Art Department

You’ll have the freedom to shape a curriculum that reflects your passions and the interests of your pupils. Requirements

• QTS or QTLS
• Experience teaching Art in UK schools
• Confidence supporting pupils with ASD and SEMH needs
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
