Teachers Assistants - Core Subjects - Secondary schools and Colleges (FE)
Contract: ASAP start
Location: North, East, West and South London.
Day rate: from £65 - £80 dependent on previous experience.
We are experiencing a high demand for Teachers Assistants in Secondary Schools for both mainstream and SEND specilaist schools.
The role: We're interested teachers assistants to commit to the ethos of working in partnership with our students. You will assist in the class room planning and deliver inspirational, engaging lessons, ensuring students participate. You will also develop skills to enable your students to progress and achieve their academic goals.
The essentials: We're hiring motivated, enthusiastic both experienced and aspiring Teacher Assistant to contribute and ensure our students achieve their full potential. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies with an emphasis on student progression and differentiation.
- Adaptable and professional attitude to meet the needs of the students - essential
- Previous experience working in a learning support/mentor role is desirable
- Prior experience of working with young people who have behavioural difficulties - desirable
Given the specific requirements associated with working with SEND (special education needs and disabilities) pupils, previous or existing experience working with pupils of this nature would be desirable. However, this is certainly not an essential provided that you are able to demonstrate a strong interest in working with SEND pupils, with a commitment to furthering your knowledge and skills in this rewarding area of education.
