In this role you would be providing secretarial & administrative support to the teams within the tax department, you may also be expected cover for other members of the support team & undertake some facilities management functions when necessary. This is a varied and busy role requiring a flexible administrator & exceptional deadline management.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of correspondence, client documentation, letters & reports
  • Assisting in new client identification
  • Invoice generation & preparation of VAT returns
  • Data entry of tax returns
  • Liaison with HMRC
  • Banking activity responsibility
  • Responsibility for entry & maintenance of client details on the database & assisting clients with technical issues
  • Assisting with annual audits
  • Maintence & creation of master documents
  • Management of incoming & outgoing post
  • Events management, diary management, organisation of networking events, training & client meetings
  • Reception & switchboard cover as required

Facilities Management (as required)

  • Maintaining office equipment stock levels
  • Maintaining tax literature
  • Making refreshments for client meetings
  • Liaison with the facilities co-ordinator
