Tax Manager
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Salary: £55,000 - 70,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + Excellent practice specific benefits package + study support if required

This rare and fantastic opportunity would be very attractive for someone who is either looking for a new challenge, whose career development is blocked by circumstances or doesn't have a mix of work that currently excites them. The route to Partner is very straight forward with massive benefits only a partner can enjoy.

About You
• To be considered for a role you will be CTA part qualified or qualified or qualified by experience
• It is expected the successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified or currently studying and seeking a role which will utilise their tax experience.
• You should have at least 3-5 years post qualification experience within a practice environment
• You will need significant tax experience, but strong technical and communications skills are the primary requirements of my client.

About The Role
Reporting to either the Partners or Directors you will enjoy a various range of work which will support your career development and help you progress through the practice.

Your role will include:
• Tax planning on a personal and corporate level
• Complex tax computations for both individuals and companies
• Research and Development tax credit calculations
• Capital restructuring
• Innovation tax reliefs
• Inheritance tax planning

Hours are full time (37.5 hours per week with some flexibility on start and finish times). They offer 5 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays, a parking pass so you can park nearby for free, private medical and a pension scheme. There is regular CPD through seminars and webinars and progression for those who want it. This is all in addition to a generous starting salary of £35-42k depending on your level of experience.
