As part of your role, you will play a part in the leadership team to help the firm realise their own potential and growth plans.
With such expansion, there is a need to grow the team and as such we are looking for an experienced Tax Director to provide outstanding advice and support to both entrepreneurs and companies.
Given the diverse client base of the firm, and the entrepreneurial spirt of companies across the East of England, the Tax advice is varied and ranges from straightforward sales through to complex demergers, private equity transactions and restructuring. The successful candidate will support clients on a wide range of events and transactions delivering short term results, but long term tax planning strategies.
Working alongside the firms existing experienced Tax Director in the short/medium term, you will provide specialist tax support helping clients who are acquiring or selling their business helping to identify and rectify potential risks and opportunities as well as providing ongoing advice to a retained entrepreneurial client base.
The ideal candidate will have a varied background within both corporate tax and private client environment. It is essential that you have extensive experience advising on acquisitions, sales, MBO's, and MBI's and be fully informed and experienced in the latest tax rules and legislation
You will be expected to lead on all tax matters relating to a transaction, from initial tax planning, client consultations and structuring to submitting tax clearances and managing HMRC communications and queries. You will also be expected to be part of the pitch team for originating new work.
