In this newly created role you’ll be designing and developing the organisations approach to talent management across the group with a keen focus on early careers development, workforce development and career pathways

What you’ll be doing:

  • Select, develop and own the talent identification and development tools and processes for the organisation including the talent cycle, performance management and potential talent
  • Create the in-year resourcing and attraction plan for our Talent Pipelines offer
  • Design and delivery of all programmes
  • Management of any external training providers we use, ensuring they meet relevant quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with all Ofsted requirements for Apprenticeship programmes we deliver, including understanding our safeguarding obligations
  • Coaching and development of individuals on a Leadership and Management apprenticeship programmes
  • Design, develop and deliver a fit for purpose induction programme for Grads, Apprentices, Interns, etc
  • Develop talent identification and development frameworks for the business including performance leadership.
  • Maintain records on key talent (high performing, high potential employees), succession plans, career paths, etc., and facilitate their effective deployment

Who you’ll be:

  • You’ll be a passionate talent professional who is akin to working in a 'roll your sleeves up’ environment
  • Previous experience of working closely with Graduates, Apprentices and other early careers pipelines
  • Experience of managing an Apprenticeship Levy pot
  • Knowledge of design, development and roll out of Talent Management Processes
  • Collaborative working style, along with the ability to build credible relationships
  • Ability to operate in a partnering style, challenging and coaching to get the best out of people
