This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced learning and development professional to join this large retailer in a multi-site role.
The successful candidate will be accountable for implementing and embedding effective, pragmatic and practical development and talent management strategies and solutions across 40 locations in the South of England. These will enable and support the delivery and optimisation of business performance and strategic priorities, working collaboratively with both business leaders and HR colleagues.
A key responsibility will be to design, implement and embed effective digital and innovative development solutions and activities across the Southern region, achieving alignment across all UK franchises in order to optimise individual, team and organisational performance, fully aligned to business strategic priorities, sharing these across other T&D leads to ensure consistency and measuring success through feedback and performance improvements.
The role will suit a multi-site training and development professional who is used to working across multiple locations in a fast paced environment. Regular visits to the Portsmouth based office are required and candidates living within the Portsmouth/Hampshire area will benefit from easier access to the Southern area.
