Talent Development Advisor

The purpose of the role is to support the Talent & Engagement team to develop and enable talent across the organisation to perform at their best and deliver great results to our clients. The scope of the team includes early / emerging talent, leadership and management development, professional, technical and behavioural competency development, performance management, team effectiveness and employee engagement. The team has a international remit and works closely with the HR business partners to deliver relevant interventions aligned to business needs.

The Talent Advisor is accountable for:

  • Providing support, specialist knowledge, advice and guidance in implementing talent and engagement interventions aligned to the business and talent strategy.

  • Working with and influencing key stakeholders on talent initiatives providing direct consultation as needed, including identification of business needs and defining enabling talent & engagement interventions.

  • Providing specialist support to HR business partners on the application of Talent and Performance policies, processes, tools and guides in their business/functions.

  • Managing and delivering talent and engagement projects and interventions to deliver agreed business outcomes.

  • Producing talent analytics to enable demonstration of RoI and value of talent and engagement interventions.


    Knowledge / experience in one or more of the following:

  • talent development including key methodologies, frameworks / tools.

  • how to develop different talent populations from early, emerging and established talent.

  • employee engagement principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • change management and organisational design approaches.

  • performance management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • learning cycle and its application within learning solutions.

  • measuring RoI / business value and evaluate the impact of programmes.
